Why do I need facials?
Facials can smooth the skin, improve the skin's ability to retain hydration, help even out skin tone, and slow down the skin's aging process.
How often should I get a facial?
Facials can be done monthly.
How long will the facial take?
A facial treatment can be from 45 minutes, to 1 hour.
What should I do to prepare for my facial?
DO NOT WAX OR SHAVE BEFORE A FACIAL, come barefaced, avoid the sun before and after the facial.
DO NOT EXFOLIATE BEFORE the facial, skip any at home facial treatments.
Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
NO, please arrive barefaced to your appointment. There is an additional fee for makeup removal.
What can I expect at my facial appointment?
Aside from pure relaxation, first time clients are required to come in 10-15 minutes early to fill out the consultation sheet.
Will the facial hurt or be uncomfortable?
The facial will not hurt, but many do experience tenderness and sensitivity when the extraction process occurs.
How soon will I start to see results from my facial?
Clients typically can see results from the first treatment. The skin is deeply hydrated and circulation has been boosted allowing fresh blood to bring nutrients to the cells.
Will I break out after I get my facial?
It is very common to experience breakouts after a facial. It simply means toxins are being released through your skin.
Will my skin be sensitive after my facial?
It is very common to have sensitive skin after a facial. Give your skin a week to heal after having a professional treatment. Be sure to drink lots of water afterwards. Staying hydrated will prevent dehydration, flush out toxins, and leave you with a healthy, glowing complexion.
Why isn't Dermaplaning offered for first-time clients?
Dermaplaining isn’t offered for first time clients because that is a treatment that your skin needs to be prepped for. Dermaplaining cannot be done if the skin is dehydrated, or is in a current breakout phase.
Can I get a facial while I'm pregnant?
YES!! You can absolutely receive a facial while you’re pregnant. Facials are safe during pregnancy as long as it’s a basic facial.
Should I get a facial before an important event?
You should get a facial at least one week before a special event.
Can I bring a friend with me to my facial appointment?
NO, unfortunately additional guests are not allowed. I mean after all, this is your time to relax! :)
